The so called online classes

Tonight, i want to talk about online classes that i've been attending for the last five weeks (if i'm not mistaken) or somewhere near that. So basically i have 5 subjects this semester which is (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E). Well let me just use the secret codes since i don't want anyone or any creatures to get offended or whatsoever.
The first one is (A). Honestly, i have to say that i'm not really impressed and motivated by this method. Why you may ask. Here's the story, The teaching instructor decided to use WhatsApp as the medium of online class. In which he decided to send the pre-redorded (i believed) voice notes. From the outer perspective, it may look okay and fine but trust me once you experience it, it was bad i mean worst experience ever. This is why. The length of the voice notes is in range from 10 seconds to 2 plus minutes which is no problems for that. BUT it was not in order. It's all over places. Once you start the play button of the voice notes, the teaching instructor is talking about stuff on 7th slide. Then the next voice note is about the 25th slide. Assalamaualikum is at 20th voice notes (out of 50 voice notes). What makes this more interesting is he not just read what is in the notes, but he basically adding a lot of points (which is good). But then again when you don't know which slides to refer, you just lost it. For the quiz and tests, you have to write it on a piece of paper and send to him via email. Well its not really something to rant about cause for someone who not knowing about online platforms to do quiz and tests, it is good enough. It's just that you have to do it fast and you have to be super prepared, mentally and physically. Oh and one more thing the attendance, the first few weeks, we use WhatsApp to list all 60++ of our names, then we change it to google form but these last two weeks we have to reuse the older way which is using WhatsApp. It is REALLY HARD to list 60++ names. When you are typing your name, there are about 9 people are also typing their names too. Not blaming them tho. Every time this class ended, i just feel demotivated to do other works or study other subjects. If you can see my whatsApp story, i did rant about this A LOT. Thanks to the teaching instructor for your hard work.
The second one is (B). I like how my teaching instructor conducting this lesson. He uses this 'Panopto' which he recorded his voice while the screens showing the slides. It's a cool way. i wouldn't have any problems listening to his lecture for a day. The attendance is via google forms in which we have to fill up during class hour. The tests is also via google form which is easy for us and i bet it is easy for him too. For this subject, we have to conduct lab. For this lab, every week our lab instructor will give videos, brochures, lab manual and raw data for the experiment. The lab reports need to be submitted through Google Classroom and the due date is more than a week after the lab session. And there will be quizzes every two weeks (but now once a week i think) which is through google forms. Overall i am really happy to learn and do the reports on this subject. Thanks to the teaching and lab instructor for your hard work.
Next is (C), the instructor is using podcast thingy. A good way to deliver the lecture no doubt. It's just that he just post whenever he likes. For example this one night (not his lecture day), at freaking 11.30 pm, he notify us through WhatsApp about podcast that he made. And he also started his class super early few weeks before the online classes was supposed to start which not a big deal since that time there are not much to do. Tests are through google form which is good This subject also have lab and the lab instructor gave the raw data, we did the lab report and submit via Google Classroom in a week. Easy and simple. Thanks to the teaching and lab instructor for your hard work.
As for (D), the first two weeks if i'm not mistaken, he used Google Meet, which i have no problems at all attending his lessons. But then he decided to change to this thing called 'loom' in which he pre-recorded his videos and there are also slides. The video is inside the slides. It is one of the subject where i wouldn't mind listening to the lecture all day long. Attendance is via the Google Form which is superb. The test is through something called Ufuture i believed which is kinda the same as Google Forms. Thanks to the teaching instructor for your hard work.
Last but not least is (E), for this subject we use Google Meet because this subject need two ways interaction more than other subjects. The attendance is via the meet. And everything that needed to be submitted is through Google Classroom. No problems at all. Thanks to the teaching instructor for your hard work.
So that's all i have to say about my online classes. Can't wait for this semester to end. Overall it is a new experience for me, my friends, my teaching instructors, my lab instructors and my university in other word for every piece of creatures in this world. And i personally want to thanks all of my instructors for their hard work, time, patience and everything. Oh and one more thing, i am amused and confused on how we have this thing called ilearn but all of my lectures decided to use Google (Meet, Classroom, Form) and other medium to deliver the lesson instead of using that thing but whatever.
It doesn't matter what shit been thrown to you, you just need to survive yourself. That's life.
